My friend Dave - I am absolutely devastated that we’ve lost such a genuinely kind and funny man. What do I think of when I think of Dave? That’s easy, laughter. As long as he was making people laugh, Dave was happy. I’ve known him for many years and have endless memories of our little holidays together, talking rubbish and playing drinking games. One guarantee when spending time with Dave is that’d he’d make me laugh.. a lot! He was an intelligent and kind gentleman, and was a best friend to my dad (sailor Craig) before he passed away and he was a huge support for me when that happened and remained an amazing friend of mine afterwards. I’ll miss him for the rest of my life and want to pass on my deepest sympathy to his family - he was very much loved and I’ll think of him fondly forever and will remember him for being such a huge influence in my life and for always keeping me smiling.
